Cepea, October 2, 2026 – Weather conditions are expected to influence the citrus market this October, with possible effects on demand for in natura fruit. High temperatures associated with El Niño are expected to favor consumption of fresh oranges, which may limit price drops. At processing plants, prices will continue to be tied to the pace of orange juice exports, which remains limited by weakened international demand, particularly from the European Union
