Cepea, October 19, 2026 – The domestic corn supply exceeded demand in mid-October, intensifying the downward pressure on prices in most regions surveyed by Cepea. Despite concerns about the potential impacts of El Niño over the coming months, new estimates from Conab for the 2026/27 season indicate an increase in production. In the international market, there were also concerns about global supply; however, recent projections pointed to higher crop yields in the United States, which pressed down futures prices
